Suppliers sent letters to all businesses with CT meters confirming their site Maximum Import Capacity. If you have not received a letter then you should contact your current supplier and ask them for their help in confirming your Maximum Import Capacity
‘Industry held data’ is information that may be held centrally on energy industry approved databases. The information held can include such information as your business’s Meter Serial Number and Unique Meter Reference Number (MPAN/ MPRN). This information in combination with consumption information is considered ‘Personal Data’ and therefore, we seek your approval to use that information to generate your quotation.
Important: If you do not consent to us using your ‘industry held data’ then we will still endeavour to generate a quote for your business but without the use of ‘industry held data’. Instead you will be required to answer more questions at the results stage to see your business specific product options.
During a Change of Tenancy you automatically inherit the existing supplier.
You will have to notify the supplier that you are the new tenant and of the date you moved into the property.
Usually you will have to give the existing supplier 30 days termination notice, although most suppliers will allow you to leave right away. Failure to do this, will result in your existing supplier objecting to your switch.
If you do not know who the existing supplier is, please call Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline on 03454 040506 and they will be able to advise who supplies the property.
